Hello everyone,

If you’re reading this letter, it means I am desperately in need of your help. My name is Maschere Powell-Francis, and I’m an aspiring model. Becoming a model has always been my dream. Growing up, everyone I encountered encouraged me to pursue this path, but life had other plans and took me in a different direction.

Still, I never gave up on my passion. I’ve made significant sacrifices to follow this dream and work towards making it a reality. In May 2024, I had an amazing opportunity to be represented by Liz from Society Performers and attended my very first showcase. I was excited to make it onto three callback lists, but unfortunately, I wasn’t selected for SPIN 2025. I was devastated, especially because I had invested all my savings into that opportunity.

Despite the setback, I refused to let it crush my spirit. In June 2024, I signed up for auditions with John Robert Powers. I was thrilled to make the callback list, and I knew then that I had to stay focused and keep pushing forward.

I am pleased to share that I attended my second showcase on April 5, 2025, proudly represented by John Robert Powers. Out of 30 auditioning talents, only 12 were selected—and I’m beyond grateful to be one of them! I now have the incredible opportunity to attend Industry Network in January 2025 in Los Angeles.

This is truly a dream come true. However, there is a cost of $4,850 USD to attend, which is about $500 more than if paid upfront. That’s why I am reaching out and humbly asking for your support—whether through donations or sponsorship—so I can be part of this life-changing 5-day event.

Any contribution, no matter how small, would mean the world to me. I’ve never gotten this far, and I’m praying that God continues to bless my path and help me follow my dreams.
