Our family of artists, including 2 cats & 1 puppy, have been living out in Joshua Tree, California for the past year. Throughout our time together, we've all worked to combat oppression from our homeowners and people we've shared space with & called friends. Initially we were going to renew our lease to stay but the decision was made for us by the abusive landlord of this house, who has never taken responsibility for the issues and malfunctions that we've paid to fix out of our own pockets. Our renewal was rejected, and then when we thought we found a new house to call our home, the opportunity fell through after one roommate betrayed our trust by committing to racist/misogynistic behavior within our shared space. They left us to deal with finding a new option for us to safely move to that can meet our needs for space not only to live, but also to work as professional artists. We have 2 organs, a piano, multiple keyboards, valuable equipment for music production & recording, as well as a writer who has a completely set up office space that will be uprooted.

After all of these difficulties, we managed to find the perfect house that meets all of our needs, and we're asking for help with moving costs, including first + last month's rent + security deposit. All of us are continually working hard to be consistent in our work in making this happen, and we're ready to finally close this chapter so we can live freely moving forward!
