My name is Phil Onwiler, I am raising money in support of my sister-in-law, Jordan, and my brother, Mark. Their world has been turned upside down as Jordan was diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer on April 3, 2023.

Jordan’s journey started a little earlier, as she was plagued with a persistent cough and difficulty breathing in February of 2023. After preliminary visits to the doctor, she was treated for pneumonia, but the cough and breathing issues continued. After further testing, cancerous tissue was found, but treatment could not begin until the fluid in her lungs could be controlled. After draining the fluid, and to avoid further collapsing of the lungs, a proceedure was done to glue her lungs to the inside of her chest cavity. By this time, in mid-May, doctors informed Jordan that the cancer was at stage IV. Due to its aggressive nature, the cancer was too far along to find where it originated. It is suspected to have begun in the stomach or esophagus, but had spread to her brain, jaw, neck, spine, lungs and liver.

Any funds raised here will be provided to Mark and Jordan to help offset medical costs they have already incurred and those that are yet to come. Mark, Jordan, and their daughter, Olivia, face a long road ahead. Thank you for your thoughts, prayers and generosity.
