Virginia Program at Oxford

Hey everyone!
My name is Ethan Sabo and I'm a junior at Hampden-Sydney College in Farmville, Virginia. I'm majoring in English, minoring in Rhetoric and this summer, I am fortunate to have been accepted into the Virginia Program at Oxford. This program is designed to give outstanding students of English literature and history an opportunity to spend six weeks, from June 28th-August 6th, studying at St. Anne's College in Oxford, England. During my six weeks, I will be taking courses in English literature and Tudor history. The program follows the English system, combining frequent lectures by world-class scholars and weekly tutorials conducted by Oxford dons.
On top of the great academic training, the VPO trip offers a tremendous opportunity to study abroad, experience another culture, and be exposed to a world-renowned institution that will be a huge asset to my future career path.
The only thing holding me back, however, is financing. Thankfully, through hard work and generous recommendations, I have been able to secure a partial scholarship from the school; however, the scholarship alone is not enough. I'm trying to raise $2,800 through Go Fund Me to support my study abroad trip.
I am so incredibly excited to be going on this incredible journey and I am very thankful for all of your wonderful and generous support!
Thank you!
