❤️ Help Us Bring Joey Home
In the early morning of February 20, 2026, I lost my brother, Joey.
Joey was born May 14, 1974, and passed away peacefully in his sleep after a long and difficult battle with cancer.
Cancer took a lot from him long before it took his life — including his leg and much of his strength — but it never took the kind of person he was. Joey fought hard every single day and handled more than most people ever should have to face.
I stayed by his side through appointments, surgeries, treatments, and the hard days in between because he was my brother, and I wasn’t going to leave him to face it alone. At the same time, I have also been caring for our other brother who has suffered multiple strokes, making this loss even more difficult for all of us.
Joey was loved as a son, brother, uncle, stepfather, grandfather, and friend. He meant the world to our family, and losing him has left a hole that can never truly be filled.
We are now asking for help to cover cremation expenses so we can bring Joey home and lay him to rest surrounded by the people who love him.
Any donation, no matter the amount, is deeply appreciated and helps take some of the financial stress off our family during this incredibly hard time. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser and keeping our family in your thoughts and prayers means just as much.
Thank you for your kindness and support.
