I am running the London Marathon this year to raise funds for the Breast Cancer Now, a research and support charity. Breast Cancer Now has an amazing support network with many resources to support anyone in the world affected by breast cancer, throughout their entire journey.

Running the London Marathon has been a dream of mine for many years, as I hope to one day complete all six Major Marathons of the World. In April, I will be among 40,000 runners from around the world, over 75% of which are raising funds for charitable causes. Last year alone runners raised over $20 million dollars for more than 2,000 charities.

Like many of you, I have seen and felt the lifelong effects of losing someone to cancer. And while there have been many advancements, especially in breast cancer, it remains the second leading cause of cancer death in women in the US.
