Hi, my name is Naketa and I have set up this account to assist with the cost of out patient care and therapy due to injuries I sustained in a motor vehicle accident on June 9, 2023. The injuries sustained in the accident caused me to stay in the hospital for two months before coming home to continue recovery. Doctors informed me that recovery would take up to a year, maybe longer.

The accident left me with a broken femur, a broken leg and a fractured ankle. Before this accident I was able to do for myself and others, I worked full-time and supported my family. Now I'm unable to work and I have to depend on others to help me do everything. I am unable to work, I am no longer earning income to pay for the benefits that afforded me insurance coverage to pay for my extensive outpatient care and long term therapy. I am used to being up and about, working hard, taking care of my household and anyone who needed me for anything. Despite my world being flipped upside down, I find strength within, I remain positive, I encourage myself, I remind myself that I'm still here and that this is just a set back for the come back.
