Madeline ❤️

This fund has been created to help provide a little cheer and support for my niece Madeline Headley.

As most of you know, Madi was involved in a life threatening motorcycle accident on June 26th, 2022 resulting in multiple broken bones throughout her entire body. After two weeks in the ICU at Strong Memorial Hospital, Madi was fortunate enough to be able to return home and continue to heal with the support of her family and friends. Although, the majority of Madi's injuries have successfully healed over the past year, she continues to face complications resulting from her broken femur.

Three surgeries and a serious bone infection later, Madi will undergo her fourth (and hopefully final!) surgery this Monday, July 3rd, 2023.

Throughout it all, Madi remains so courageous and strong and continues to navigate this long journey with so much grace.

Due to the severity of her injuries, Madi has been unable to work this past year. Thankfully, she was able to get by for a while with the savings she had worked so hard to earn, however the continual co-pays for medical procedures have taken their toll financially.

As of today, Madi has not received any financial reimbursement from the responsible driver's insurance. Sadly, it does not appear that she will.

We are hopeful that our friends and family will rally around Madi to help relieve her of this financial worry so she can continue to focus her energy on healing.
