Help me to see my father.

Last week my father was taken ill, many of you know Justin Lokwiya (forestry, Japan, trees trees trees). He recently turned 86 and I was blessed to briefly spend a few hours with him in June this year (2024) in Kampala at a family function. Daddy's dementia is at an advanced stage, as alway he was in good spirits, smiling with a strong grip to my hands.

Last week I was informed through the wider family that Daddy was hospitalised with pneumonia. Today I was informed that he has a failing heart valve but open heart surgery is not an option. The doctors are allegedly trying to look for alternative options to surgery. He is allegedly comfortable. I am in bits.

I need to see him and hold his hand and try to save his life but can not afford it. So I am opening this gofundme to ask for your help to enable me to go be with my father. Any contribution would go towards the cost of my travel, from Amsterdam to Entebbe and towards any medical needs that may arise while I am with him.
