Shannon Lemmon, social studies teacher at GA and wife of GISA and Glynn Academy Coach Tom Lemmon, recently had a mass removed from her abdominal area which turned out to be stage 4 Metastatic colon cancer. This is her second battle with colon cancer. She is home now and doing well and will begin chemo treatments soon. Shannon is an amazing mother of two beautiful little girls and a valiant fighter. When it comes to fighting cancer though, even valiant fighters need a little help.
