Our Sisters Keeper

Yesterday morning my family and I received a phone call that Taylor had been in a very bad car accident and that she was in bad shape. While we all thought the worst waiting to hear the news we were beyond grateful to hear that she was alive and stable but has suffered a c2 fracture (a broken neck) and a bad concussion. Taylor is among the lucky few who have suffered a serious neck/spine injury like this and still has movement below her neck, by the grace of God. While we are aware of how very lucky we are and are eager for Taylor’s full recovery it is a LONG road ahead of us with physical therapy, possible surgeries, braces and wheelchairs for the foreseeable future. Taylor will be out of work and unable to contribute to the house and Scarletts care and we want to help Shawn, Taylor and Scarlett with any burdens ahead. Anything helps and we are forever indebted to everyone who donates.

UPDATE: Taylor is home and improving everyday, while she is still struggling and in pain she is expected to make a FULL recovery in time. We as a family are so incredibly grateful for every single one of you. One thing this has taught us all is just how loved we all are and how lucky we are to have the people around us that we have and how lucky we are for eachother.
