Raymond "Casey" Cotten Jr.

Raymond "Casey" Cotten Jr. was a beloved member of "Tuff St" and the Ben and Jerry's "Cream Team". His contagious smile and genuine spirit will be missed. Casey had courage, strength and a beautiful heart. He was often the first to work and the last to leave...keeping up the same work ethic from beginning to end and encouraging others to do their best. Many people face obstacles but Casey had quite a few. Still he remained positive and didn't complain of his shortcomings..instead he was always trying to figure out how to overcome and grow. He was strong..a survivor.

He leaves behind one son who will never know how loyal and good hearted his father was. It is up to us to make sure his memory remains.

We have started this fund to help cover his burial/funeral expenses. Casey did not deserve to die such a tragic death and the burden of that alone is enough on his family and friends. But we all know funerals are expensive and we would like to take that burden off of the family. Any donation will help!  If  we exceed the monetary amount needed to cover funeral expenses the rest will go into a NC529 college savings plan for his son, Davonta.
