Mother has Cancer Again
Hello,
I'm trying to raise money to help my mother pay for cancer treatment. My mother, Melanie, was diagnosed with a bone cancer in 2005, went through chemotherapy and survived, she even magically had another child when she was sure she wouldn't be able too again.
Now my mother of five, almost ten years free of cancer, has found out that she has a pre-stage cervical cancer, which is sadly ironic since she had a hysterectomy after child number five. Right now her only option is to take some medicince for six months and take another look at it too see if it cleared it up any. Unfortunately for her, it's $300 a month for the medicine after insurance. She'll barely be able to pay for it if she makes enough money, and still has her bills, three of my younger siblings to take care of too, and another sibling in college, who's attempting to help by finding a second job and quiting sports. My father's there with her, with a job and the health insurance, but again, they're living check to check as it is without this unfortunate event.
I'm hoping to raise at least $1800 to pay for the first six months of treatment to help my mother survive another battle with cancer, and hopefully kick its ass before she has to go through chemo again.
