My sister's name is Sherma Gay and she has been diagnosed with Breast Cancer in March, 2019. This diagnosis was the most traumatic and devastating news for she and her family especially her husband, mother and 4 children.
My sister's smile resonated with me in the picture before her surgery because she had the positive mindset that the surgery was going to be successful and it surely did. Thank God! God has given her a second chance and she is indeed grateful and hopeful. During the initial months after surgery, she had fallen into a depression. Currently, she has been experiencing excruciating pain on her surgical wounds.
Sherma is currently in the process of undergoing Cancer Treatment in New York and every year she has to travel from Carriacou to New York for treatment and vice-versa. Therefore, I am kindly requesting financial assistance for Sherma's Cancer Treatment as the costs associated with radiation and chemotherapy treatment, insurance, accommodation(rent) and transportation services in New York can be exorbitant.
I know we are experiencing financial hardships due to the economical impact from Covid-19 but any donation to reach our goal in helping my sister will be immensely appreciated. Thank you so much in advance for your understanding and support.
