Our dear friend, Claudia Casey, is setting out on a healing journey after a recent rupture of her abdominal hernia. As we all know the cost of some medical procedures can add insult to injury. Even if you have health insurance, pre-deductible and out-of-pocket costs can quickly add up. When you add these expenses to lost wages during recovery, the total medical bill can be overwhelming. Therefore, abdominal surgery is not only physically and emotionally demanding but also financially burdensome. We have created this fundraiser to provide a tangible and practical way for friends and family to assist Claudia as she presses forward with surgery September 20th.

Claudia is a strong and resilient soul, who is always there for others, offering her love and support unconditionally. Now, it is our turn to rally around her and provide the care and assistance she needs during this challenging journey for her and her family.

Claudia is an inner city teacher who depends on her ability to work to provide for her two children. We do not want her mounting medical bills, combined with the daily cost of living to become overwhelming, impeding her focus on healing and recovery.
