My name is Emily Rose Cranfill, I'm a North Carolina native, tattoo artist, mother and small business owner. Last year after the birth of our daughter May we relocated to my home town and opened up a tattoo studio in Lewisville NC. The Family Stone Tattoo is our brick and mortar location, tattooing every day with a team of friends, family and amazing co-workers!
Last year I also began developing a line of tattoo industry items that could be made kid friendly.....my own daughter had begun to pretend to be tattooing....it made me think about how many parents with tattoos, or fellow tattoo artists might have a similar little one at home.....curious about an age old art form but no kid friendly way to learn about it!? What's a mom to do!?
In the end I found a way to make a toy out of a tattoo machine. I designed a replica for her to load with a crayon and play tattoos all day! She loves it, we love it, finally a toy that relates to our actual lives.....perfect!
And thus, our Etsy store was born!

We began in January this year listing my little paintings, Mini Tattoo Machines, and our vast vintage collection. It's only been a few months for us, but it seems like our line of kid products is a big hit! I'd like to take full advantage of our momentum and expand our product line into more fun for the little ones.
The plans for future amazing products are big, and so fun!! We hope to be able to outfit a woodworking studio and it's my dream to expand into screen printing our own t-shirts and kids clothes. We have a team of artists, goofy friends, and weird relatives ready to assemble and create to spread some tattoo fun around the world......we need start up capital to push our product line farther.
My hopes and dreams for our future are monumental and my budget is tiny. Help us make toys and beautiful art, help us bring the tattoo world into the mainstream home, help us teach kids that tattoos are a legitimate art form, and help us build an exciting life for our own little family.
