James Allan Stickel is a brother of the fire service, a great friend to many , esteemed colleague and a family man. For all of us that know him, we are blessed to have a man with such values, character and integrity involved in our lives.
 Early this year Allan has been diagnosed with colon cancer. He currently has already undergone surgery and is starting chemotherapy and radiation treatment. This process is required to reduce the size of the tumor before being able to operate and remove it.  Al's consultations with specialists estimate this will likely occur over a minimum of 1 year. 
  We are asking for help to raise money.  This will reduce the stress and anxiety by easing the financial burden of the medical costs associated with being diagnosed with cancer and the journey Al is now faced with. This will allow Al to focus on what he needs to, himself.
