Marissa's Road to Recovery

On Monday, June 19th, Marissa was involved in a car vs. motorcycle accident. Marissa was riding her motorcycle when a vehicle drove into her path causing her to crash. The accident was not her fault and she was doing everything right. This accident resulted in multiple life-threatening injuries. Marissa was transported to a local hospital where she was then life flighted to a Chicago hospital.

In the first 24 hours, Marissa had undergone several major surgeries to repair significant damage. She remained in the ICU where her family stood vigil at her side. Now Marissa faces a very long road ahead of her to include a lengthy healing process and extensive rehabilitation. Marissa is a dedicated EMT and Firefighter, but unfortunately now finds herself out of work for an unspecified amount of time.

Please help in showing her love and support during this extraordinarily difficult life changing time. All proceeds will go to Marissa for medical expenses and/or expenses that incur during Marissa's hospitalization/rehabilitation.
