Memorial and Funeral for John Alan Storms II
Donation protected
On March 7th 2023, my father and best friend, John Storms, suddenly left this world to rejoin his mom, leaving me and many others confused, heartbroken and utterly lost. It feels surreal to even be typing the words out. This monumental loss has left me reeling and trying to find out how exactly to keep going. My dad was everything to me and now I want to help him complete his final journey the way he wanted. This gofundme is here to help us bury my father with his mom at Mountain View Cemetery.

My dad was an incredible man. He went out of his way to help others, even to his own detriment. He would give you the shirt off his back to keep you warm. He would actively reach out to make sure the people he loved were doing well, and always offered his help even when it wasn’t asked for. Even after his accident that left him paralyzed, he never stopped smiling.
His joy and laughter was contagious, his wit unmatched and his courage unheard of. Nothing was able to keep him down, and he always made sure to raise me up. Just like he did for all of his friends. The amount of love I’ve seen come his way has moved me so much, he was always so private with me about his life before he got hurt. It’s been so beautiful to see how many people love my dad as much as I did, and just how far his reach had gone.

My dad deserved the world, and was dealt some very cruel hands. Despite that, he persevered and pursued every dream and avenue to the fullest. He not only succeeded, but often EXCELLED and whatever he set his mind to. He was so strong, and I am lucky to have even a portion of the strength he embodied. He will be so terribly missed, by so many people. He was loved. He was my daddy. I love you, Dad.
I will see you again one day ♥️
