Support Kelly's Journey to Recovery
My name is Bridget Burton. Kelly Burton, my father, is currently hospitalized. At a follow-up doctor appointment, he was rushed to the hospital because his oxygen levels were dangerously low. He has been previously diagnosed with COPD, and it is now exacerbated. The doctors and nurses of Norton Audubon Hospital are working hard to help him heal. Kelly's lung are not functioning well enough to provide him the oxygen he needs.
As of 9/23/24, Kelly is in the ICU. His condition does not appear to be improving. He is teetering a thin line of needing life support.
While we don't have concrete answers yet, we do know that he will be missing a lot of work. Most likely multiple weeks. Unfortunately, Kelly's employer does not offer long-term or short-term disability, and his health insurance is not the best. I wanted to make this page to help my dad through this tough time and get him back on his feet. Along with missing out on his income right now, he will be facing large medical bills.
At this point, Kelly's lungs are struggling to recover and funtion properly, and his body has been working hard to compensate for the lack of oxygen. Any amount donated will help Kelly immensely, and is greatly appreciated. Thank you for taking the time to read this. I know that millions of us are also struggling.
