Hello, my name is Eugene, based in Maryland, USA. About two weeks ago a friend of mine sent me a picture of a baby boy with a swollen and bleeding left eye. I ignored it. Few days later, somebody else sent the same picture to another group chat where I belong, asking for assistance. I then became curious. I went back to my inbox and sent a message to the person who sent me the picture initially. She then explained the heartbreaking story to me. Little Ezekiel here, is only 20

months old, and has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer which has affected his left eye. The parents first noticed symptoms when he was only about a year old. But due to the political instability that has characterised Cameroon for the past three years, they were not able to access hospital and get a timely diagnosis. Right now, they are at the Bingo Baptist Hospital in the NW Region of Cameroon, where the doctors have begun a series of chemotherapy, pending surgery. However, the doctors have advised that they stand a better chance of saving the innocent baby's life, if the baby is flown to India immediately. But because there is no money to cover such a venture, the doctors are going with what they have, and that entails, flying the required drug from India every three weeks. I personally, and together with some friends, have made contributions to this cause, which is not even up to a tenth of what is needed. That is why I am using this platform to plead with men and women of good faith, to kindly help Ezekiel get the medical treatment that he needs. This baby is too young and innocent and needs to be given a fair chance of beating this deadly cancer. I literally burst into tears when I found out that little Ezekiel is about the same age as my daughter. It could be my child or yours, either way, you would want them to be given a fair chance. Please, God bless you as you donate to this life saving venture. Just to mention, Ezekiel's parents who are a young couple in their 20s, have been out of work for the past 6months or so, so that they can run around with the baby. And with the ongoing crisis in Cameroon, the situation is even more deplorable. Ezekiel's father, Elvis Anye, hails from Mankon, NW while the wife is a native from Tudig in Mbengwi, NW Cameroon. Even if they were from Austrailia, these are people in distress, in a grave condition and need our support, your support. Please, help little Ezekiel.
