Help Paul Recover

Hello,

Thank you for being such big fans of Fearing’s Restaurant at the Ritz Carlton Dallas. You all know my dear friend of 20+ years Paul Botamer. He’s been such an important part of Fearing’s and my personal life for so many years.

We all know Paul’s ability to bring a bottle of wine to life with his stories of the vineyard making the bottle explode with flavor before we even pop the cork. Anyone so lucky to hear Paul tell the story of a wine knows how gifted he is as the Wine Director at Fearing’s restaurant.

His towering physic of 6’5’is only dwarfed by the size of his heart. He is the first to help, support or love his family, friends, coworkers or even up-and-coming vineyards. He is a gentle giant with a heart of gold, and it is very apparent when talking with him. But now Paul needs our help.

On February 4th, 2022, Paul fell at home and severely broke his left hand and injured his right leg not being able to walk. These unfortunate and very debilitating injuries have limited Paul to a wheelchair as he recovers, which looks like he’ll be unable to work for 4 to 5 months. He supports his wife, who has been permanently disabled for many years, and now he cannot work because of these severe injuries. So along with my good friends Mike and Happy Mason we have decided to support Paul by raising funds to help pay for hospital bills, physical therapy, and bridge his income until he can get back on his feet and start telling those amazing stories about the best wine in the world. Your support will show your appreciation for Paul's excellent character and love for others has not gone unnoticed.

Any gift will be greatly appreciated. Our goal is to raise $50,000 and make this difficult time a little less stressful on Paul and his family.
