Katie is a daughter, a sister, a wife, a friend and, most recently, a mum to her beautiful boy Magnus, born on 14 March 2022.

 

Sadly the newborn bubble did not last long and, after over a week of pain, she was readmitted to hospital and diagnosed with bowel cancer.

 

Unfortunately, the blows continued; a few days later, it was confirmed that she has Stage 4 bowel cancer, which has spread to her liver. It is not operable or curable.

 

She now faces 12 rounds of chemo to give her as much time with her little man as possible.

 

She has been and will be robbed of so much as will her husband and, most importantly, her new son.
