We're setting up this page so that Delainey Culley doesn’t have to worry about anything other than recuperating. These funds will be used for medical bills and getting Delainey transportation again after her recovery - 100% of the money gathered will go directly to whatever it takes to get Delainey healthy.
On Tuesday, December 1st, 2015, Delainey Culley was involved in a terrible car accident. As she was on her way to class a car entered her lane of traffic unaware she was even there. That car collided with Delainey's car and caused her to spin into oncoming traffic where she was struck again. Her VW Beetle was totaled. It was a miracle, as you can see from pictures, that she even survived this accident. The driver of the first vehicle that caused the accident does not have insurance to cover any of the damages to Delainey and the others involved in this accident. Leaving Delainey responsible for all of her medical bills, replacing her vehicle, missing school, work, wages, and so on. She ended up with a broken jaw, fractured vertebrae, and a pretty messed up leg. With two surgeries down and more dental reconstruction needed; Delainey has been remarkably strong throughout this whole ordeal.
Nothing seems to have broken her spirit the whole time, even throughout an extremely nerve-wracking few days in the hospital. There are no words to adequately express how much your thoughts, prayers, and donations will mean to everyone involved in helping Delainey on her road to recovery. Once again, I don’t think we will able to ever sufficiently express the thanks and gratitude we have to each and every one of you in words.
