Medical Expenses

My name is Marcus Meza I am 59 years old. I live in Corpus Christi TX, born and raised here. I am an instructor at Del Mar College in my city. I teach craft trades and construction. I have been a TASO high school state baseball umpire for 22 years. And TASO high school state (STXFOA CHAPTER) Football official for 8years.

After so many years of working and doing everything I can for my Family, I became very ill.

I went into hospital with a severe bladder infection on Aug 23, 2023. I was there for almost 2 months. I became septic my first couple of days there. After doing several ultrasounds, ex rays and CT scans and blood work they found I had colon cancer and was in pain for 2 weeks before Dr decided I needed surgery, why they took so long I have no clue. Dr removed 90% of my colon and now have an ostomy bag. So along with the removal of my colon the cancer was also removed. By that time, I was really dying. I went into septic shock and needed hemo dialysis. I spent 3 days in ICU not expected to make it. By the grace of God, I am here today. And I am very thankful.

Never thought I would be in this situation and have to ask for help. My wife and I are always the ones helping others in times like these. We had money saved for emergencies, but with all the expenses for medical supplies and medications and trying to pay bills and groceries. Everything being so expenses it's been pretty rough. So that is what has brought us here today asking for help. Anything is appreciated.
