I am beyond words as to the generosity of the Dickinson community. I'm certain that Officer Stone and his family will feel the love and know what being a part of the Dickinson family truly entails. Furthermore, I have contacted student life asking if I could meet with Rob or his family to check on his well-being and to arrainge the reception of the funds we raised. Thank you so much for exceeding the original goal in less than 8 hours! I will raise the goal only once more, but donations will always be welcome and of course, all donations would go to the Stone family.
On 10/13/2015, the popular crossing guard Rob suffered a heart attack while on duty. Rob is a celebrity amongst students and faculty at Dickinson College alike. While I do not know much about his personal life or family situation, such a medical emergency can cause severe financial and/or emotional strain on Rob's family. Therefore, even the slightest donation can help offset this strain and would be the least we can do to support someone with such significaSave Changes
