cancer treatments

Hi my name is Kayleigh, i’m starting this fundraiser to help my oldest brother Jeff. Jeff was recently diagnosed with stage three cancer. More specifically squamous cell carcinoma, he has tumors on his saliva glands, in his cheek and inside his lip as well as in his lymphatic system. He has to go through radiation everyday monday through friday for thirty days as well as chemotherapy. Insurance will only cover some of all of these bills which are piling up fast. He also has bills from previous hospital stays when they were trying to figure what was wrong in the beginning. Unfortunately the insurance is not covering anything from those stays and will only cover part of the radiation/chemo. Jeff is a very outgoing person who is always smiling through everything no matter what life throws at him. He is an amazing father to five boys ranging from 10 to 19. This is a very stressful situation for his family and the last thing he needs is the stress from trying to keep up with all these medical bills. Update: Jeff’s radiation will cost around $1,500 and his chemo will be roughly $6,000. Jeff started chemo this past Tuesday. The rest of the money donated would go towards his already existing bills from the diagnosis that the insurance would not cover.
