With broken hearts and total dismay, we find ourselves grieving at the tragic loss of our sweet, Christal. To endure such a loss so suddenly and unexpectedly is difficult enough, but to add the costly expenses of funeral arrangements, we are now reaching out to the community for help. Please help us give this beautiful soul a final, earthly resting place. Any donation will help and will be greatly appreciated.
No one knew Christal better than her older sister and best friend, Cami. Here is a message and tribute to her beloved sister:
"Christal Rain Johnson is not only my sister, but my best friend. With a smile that could light up a room, and a spirit that could bring you from crying to laughing in a matter of seconds, Christal was able to touch countless lives in her short time here on this earth. The amount of talent squeezed into that body is unreal. From her natural passion for running to her wild imagination that allowed her to form her thoughts into beautiful stories on paper.
I would like to thank every last person who was involved in Christal's life. Every single person involved with her track teams, her friends and their parents who have been there since elementary school, teachers, coaches, and even the people who just recently met her, THANK YOU. As this veil of darkness blinds us in these moments we can't forget that her purpose here was to change lives. I would also like for every young adult that holds Christal in their heart to please reach out. I know from experience that times get dark and you may feel stuck, but there is always someone there. Even if you just want to call or text me about what you ate, just to know that someone is listening. I am here.
This campaign is to raise funds to send Christal off as beautifully as possible. Any donation will help put our family's minds at ease while we make the final arrangements." <3
