My name is Jonathan Eben and I am starting an online bookkeeping and notary company. I have 5 years of experience as a bookkeeper. I am certified with QuickBooks Online and have advanced Excel skills. I have a degree in Accounting, an MBA, and my undergrad from West Point. The costs are relatively low for starting an online bookkeeping business. Based on my initial calculations I will need $50 to register my entity with the State of Arizona and another $63 to register as a Notary Public. An annual QuickBooks Online Pro Plus subscription fee is $549 plus another $250 in office and notary supplies. I will also require funds for a website, two advertising magnets for my vehicle, and business insurance.

My simple plan is to ingratiate myself with several local businesses in need of a competent bookkeeper and notary. I am bilingual, and Phoenix has no shortage of bilingual businesses in this area.
