Stick Taps For Langley Goalie

As most of you have heard by now, there was a fire that destroyed a condo building in Langley, B.C. on Friday July 17th 2020. One of the condo owners is a great friend of mine, Thomas Douglas.
Chances are you can catch Thomas at the rink between the pipes any given night. The man is dedicated to hockey. Having played with him for a couple years, I can tell you the guy eat, sleeps and breathes the game.
On Friday night, Thomas was doing exactly that. Enjoying his first game back between the pipes since COVID-19 halted play. Getting back on the ice was basically all he talked about days leading up to it.
Unfortunately for him, He got the call midway through the game that his condo, and everything in it were most likely destroyed.
Thomas' only concern when he left the rink that night was his cat, Bella, was stuck inside and had no idea if she would be okay. Although she was shaken up, and soaked from the water, she looks to be doing just fine.
I started this gofundme because Thomas is one of the most stubborn people I know, and I know he wouldn't ask for a cent from anyone, even in times like this when he's lost everything.
Insurance will at some point kick in, but there has been no time frame given.
I'm asking you to please consider donating what you can, any little bit helps. The money will be going towards getting clothes on his back, food on the table, and anything that is needed to kickstart his life again while he waits for his building to be rebuilt.
Any money that isn't used by Thomas can and will be used in some way to help others affected by the fire.
