In 2013, just one month before my 28th birthday, I was diagnosed with Oligodendroglioma—a fairly rare form of brain cancer. Since then, my life has been a journey through unimaginable challenges: three major brain surgeries, seven rounds of chemotherapy, two rounds of radiation, and the removal of nearly one-third of my brain.

But through every surgery, every treatment, and every valley, God has held me up and got me through it. His grace has carried me and along this difficult path, He brought someone truly extraordinary into my life.

A few years ago, I started attending a church in Gilbert, Arizona, carrying with me the weight of illness, trauma, and uncertainty. That’s where I met Monica.

Monica is everything I could have ever hoped for—kind, beautiful, strong, and full of faith. Despite the medical chaos that surrounds my life, she has poured herself into me with endless love and patience. Through every hospital visit, every infusion, every setback, Monica has stood by me, always putting my well-being above her own dreams.

Six months ago, I was beyond blessed; Monica and I got married.

Now, I want to give back to the woman who has given me everything.

Monica has always dreamed of opening a coffee shop—a warm, welcoming place where she can play her piano, create a space of peace and joy for others, and share the love of God through music, community, and compassion. This dream isn’t just about coffee. It’s about creating a space that uplifts, heals, and inspires.
