Honoring Mason’s Memory

Dear Friends and Community,

It’s with a heavy heart that I write on behalf of the Smolik family. We are devastated to share that Mason tragically passed away this past weekend. He had recently turned 18, and had his whole life ahead of him — making this unimaginable loss all the more heartbreaking.

Mason’s passing has left his family and loved ones in deep shock and sorrow. In the midst of their grief, many of you have reached out asking how you can help. While no words or actions can truly ease their pain, your love, prayers, and support mean everything.

To further support the Smolik family, we are raising funds to help ease the financial burden that comes with such a sudden and tragic loss. Our hope is to cover funeral expenses and assist with any unexpected costs, including travel for family to be together and grieve. The family would never ask for help — but as a friend, I know how much it would mean for us to come together and surround them with care during this incredibly difficult time.

Mason was deeply loved and will always be remembered for the joy and light he brought into the lives of so many. We send our love to his family and everyone who had the honor of knowing him.
