The Cat's Sass Rescue was founded in 2023, and in those 2 years, we have helped over 300 cats (5 dogs, 2 giant bunnies and a salamander :P). We run off of donations from our wonderful supporters, and without our supporters the kitties would not get the care they so badly need. Unfortuantly, 2024 was a record low for adoptions, and a record high for medical expenses and because of that, we currently have an outstanding bill of $12,000.

In rescue, for every 1 cat we save there are 7 more needing help. The calls and emails come in daily of people finding cats, or needing to surrender their cats, and of course the irresponsible pet owners who do not spay and neuter their pets causing the overpopulation crisis we are currently in all over Southern Alberta. We step up to help these animals, who otherwise would not get the vetting they need.

When we receive donations, we would love to use the donations to pay down this outstanding bill, but because of the crisis there is never a shortage of cats needing help, and the funds go to pay current vet bills which then does not leave us extra to pay down this bill.

All money raised from this go fund me will go towards the $12,000.
