Hello everyone my name is Taniel Sanders and
On Feb 8th 2017 I was diagnosed with stage 4 Breast cancer. So far this journey has been tough, but I’m a fighter so I've been kicking cancers a**. My motivation has been my 8 year old son. Being that I am a single mother, when I found out that I had cancer I was devastated. It's given me a different perspective on life going through all of this even when I scratched my head 11 days after my first treatment and a ball of my hair fell out onto the floor. I stay positive even though I have my moments. Thus far I have had to spend a total of 6 weeks off and on due to the effects of chemo. This has definitely shown me how precious life really is and how special those you love really are. So far I’ve had one breast removed and soon the other breast will be removed (A double mastectomy) I will have reconstructive surgery as well. My last day of chemo was aug 22nd and I’ll soon be starting radiation. I still have more than a year of treatments and surgeries. Threw this battle I have not been able to work due to the effects the chemo has had on me. I’ve been pretty much winging it threw this battle but could use some help to get me threw the next year.
