Hello my name is Leah Landau married to Joshua Cohen Landau a student of Beth El Kabbalist institute and Co-founder of Mamlechet Kohanim training school for Jewish Priests.
I’m a mother of 6 children, Rochel Esther 11, Dov 10, Naftali 8, Yisroel 6, Eliyahu 4, and baby Shlomo. We are blessed to live in the old city of Jerusalem, next to the holy Temple Mount and the Western Wall.
My life was very busy as I used to work with my husband to support financially our family, clean, do laundry, cooking, baking, errands, and most importantly shine love on our family.
Everything came to an end last Friday night when I had an unusual fall which smashed my scapula and left me unable to move.
Earlier today, I heard my baby, who I used to hold, cuddle and comfort, is crying... My motherly heart so badly wanted to go to him and be there for him but I just can’t stand up and go to him. I heard my lovely husband trying to satisfy the older kids so he could leave them so he could go take care of our little one. I heard my Shlomo’s crying getting louder and more hysterical with every moment that is passing. I started to cry along with him... I so badly wanted to go to him, pick him up, hug him, comfort him but I just can’t do it. I hope that no one else should have to go through this! It’s really hard! After 5 days of the accident the pain was getting worse. We tried to get hold of an orthopedic doctor when we were told that we have to pay cash since we have a limited insurance. I realized what the looks on my husbands face was, we both stopped working. We have $0 income! We need to pay rent, utilities, food, cleaning help, medical care for me, rehab and physical therapy, and we literally have $0 to pay! I felt like giving up! This is too hard for me! What will happen to us? Are we literally going homeless, with no food? We can’t get unemployment because we are in middle of the process of getting Israeli citizenship, and we are currently American citizens working remotely in America. So we don’t have anything to go forward! No, no, no, I’m not going to do this for my kids! I’m going to get through this.... Even though I hate asking from others for myself, I will do it for my family, I will fight for them! I am asking you my beloved sisters, brothers and friends, please help us get through this! If you read this, just show us that you care by donating even 1 dollar it will make a huge difference!!!
I will pray for all of you that you should be blessed by hashem (god) with everything you need and want! Please pray for my health and that we should get through this emotionally healthy and happy! My name is Drezil Leah bat Tzivia Perel.
Please share with your friends and family.
Thanks so much
