Karen Evers of Holliston, LICSW-Medical Social Worker at Milford Regional Medical Center-lived life passionately and loved her family, friends, and colleagues unconditionally. She is being remembered for her compassion, kindness, wisdom, and humor, but she is especially being remembered for her devotion to her children, Grace & Nick Pecci, who were the center of her world.
Karen was hit by a car on 12/23/2015 while leaving the library in downtown Holliston. She was unresponsive when emergency personnel arrived and was transported to UMass Medical Center in Worcester, where she passed away the next day.
Karen was a single mother who loved being a social worker and mentor to all MSW students completing their internships. She recently took on a part-time job to help pay for college for Grace, who is studying English at Keene State, and for Nick, who is a senior at Keefe Technical High School.
Her friends and family have set up this page to help pay for college and other expenses for Grace & Nick. A donation of any amount will be greatly appreciated.
