Hi everyone! I'm Joel and I'm raising money for my best friend Nikki who was diagnosed with breast cancer earlier this year in June. Nikki has already undergone 4 surgeries, including a double mastectomy and had several of her lymph nodes removed. Unfortunately, the breast cancer metastasized into her lymph nodes and not all of it was able to be removed. She now has to get chemotherapy for the next 6 months and will not be able to return to work as an EMT. Disability is only paying about $300 a month, which does not begin to cover her rent or other monthly bills. Her medical insurance is also increasing as her employment status is on hold. Without a steady income, Nikki will not be able to keep up with the financial demands and could really use some help. Six months is a long time to be out of work, but she is unable to work without risking further illness or injury. Please help me to raise enough money so that she can make it through this harrowing ordeal without having to fall into massive debt.
