Hello, my name is Jenny and I’d like to get as much towards surgery for Dexter as I can.

This has not been an easy decision (and I’m embarrassed to ask) but his fatty lump is getting bigger and is starting to affect his movement.

The pictures are from when he was a puppy, his lump now and when the lump was first tested.

Dexter started with this lump several years ago and started approx the size of a tennis ball. We had it tested and was ‘just a fatty lump’ that the vet advised against removing.

since then, I had stupidly changed his pet insurance thinking the lump would remain the same as would the vets advice. However, the lump has continued to grow and the vet has given me a quote of £2500 to remove which they think will be relatively straight forward.

Dexter is now 12 year old and I was worried that his age would go against him regarding surgery, but the vets is happy with his health otherwise and is confident in the surgery.

please give anything you can and we will continue to save to get the surgery booked in.
