Help Us Save Ace
Donation protected
Ace is a beautiful greyhound born in August 2022 — full of gentle affection, goofy zoomies, and the kind of soul that wins hearts instantly. Sadly, his young life has taken a heartbreaking turn.
Recently, Ace began showing worrying signs of pain and weakness. After multiple tests, including an MRI scan at Davies Veterinary Specialists, we finally had an answer — but it wasn’t the one we’d hoped for. Ace has been diagnosed with an autoimmune condition that is attacking his spine.
This condition is serious and requires ongoing specialist treatment to give Ace the best possible chance at a happy, pain-free life. The incredible team at Whittingham Kennels Charity, who have been caring for him, have spared no effort in getting him the care he desperately needs. But this has come at a cost — the £5,000 bill has wiped out their entire emergency fund.
That emergency fund is vital — it’s what allows Whittingham to step in immediately when another greyhound needs urgent care. With it now depleted, they face the risk of being unable to respond to the next unexpected emergency.
Why we need your help
We’re asking for your support to help cover Ace’s vet bills so Whittingham can rebuild their emergency fund and continue caring for greyhounds in crisis.
Every single donation, no matter the size, will help Ace get the care he needs and ensure Whittingham can be there for the next greyhound.
Please donate, share Ace’s story, and help us get him back to living the life every dog should — full of love, comfort, and joy.
