Luke

Luke has been a member of the Talalas family for over 10 years. He brings so much joy to family and friends with his bright smile and endless love. Luke is so caring that every stuffed animal he receives, he will gently carry around in his mouth and lay them down in his own doggy bed. When petting Luke, he will put his paw on your hand making it hard to stop giving him attention. Luke never fails to greet every family member and friend that arrives. This past Sunday Luke stopped acting like himself. He started to have difficulty walking and his family brought him to the nearest veterinarian clinic.  After being transferred to a larger animal hospital, Luke was found to have a large cyst on his kidney that ruptured, causing wide spread inflammation of his abdomen. Luke had surgery yesterday to remove the cyst and his kidney. Luke is now recovering in critical care. Although the next day or so is critical for Luke's recovery, the hope is that he can come home in 4-6 days. This is a difficult time for the Talalas family as they worry for Luke and greatly miss his presence. In hopes to ease the stress and burden on the Talalas family, please consider donating any amount of money to help with the medical expenses. Prayers are also especially appreciated!
