The Ultimate Gift of Life

Hey everyone!

 

As some of you may know, my mother Leanne has been on the transplant list for almost 4 years! We have been waiting on a living donor with no luck (until now!) & we were also on the deceased donor list!

 

The summer 2021 Claudia started going through to process to see if she was a direct match. Of course, after years of waiting, SHE'S A MATCH!

 

What Claudia is doing is the ultimate gift of life that anyone could possibly give. She is giving my mom back a sense of normalcy & shs can now perform activities she hasn't been able to do for years; like swim with her grandson or take a full shower!

 

April 6th they will both head to London to give & receive a kidney! Claudia will be there for approximately 2 weeks and Leanne will be there for almost 5 weeks! Both Chantalle Reid and I are organizing this Go Fund Me in order to offset the costs of missed work & travel expenses incurred for both of them!

 

We will be dividing the proceeds raised 50/50 between the two of them! We were hoping to hold an in person event to celebrate both parties however we just received news today that the transplant is happening in TWO WEEKS!!

 

 

Please help us provide a little bit of extra help for them! Anything is appreciated, even just sharing with your friends!
