Support Melissa's Battle Against Cancer

Cancer sucks! I know I am not the first to go through it and I won’t be the last. But insurance is denying certain treatments and medications, and working multiple jobs is difficult through treatment.

My name is Melissa. I am a single mom of 4 wonderful boys who are currently 17, 18, 26, and 27. I posted our Christmas picture. My youngest is heading off to college to become a diesel mechanic, my 18-year-old has enlisted with the Air Force and is awaiting boot camp, and the two oldest are a painter (with 2 wonderful grandkids, 7 (m) & 5 (f)) and a roofer.

I have always worked 2-3 jobs to make ends meet. I don’t have the best medical insurance (through healthcare.gov) and my out-of-pocket is approximately $15,000 just to get through December of this year.

I just can’t do this alone. I have the most amazing support group to fight this with me.
