It's a double homicide investigation. Please help us get there and get answers now!! Additional funds will now be needed for a private investigator. As we prepare to find out exactly who did this, and why? Let's just get the family there and get them some answers!
On Jan 23rd, our family recieved the devastating news that Jean Rogers - Mother to Steven, Debbi, Lisa, Jay, Lynette and Donnie - was killed in a "suspicious" house fire. Her husband also passed with her. Jean was also a beloved grand-mother and great-grandmother who spent most of her retired days caring for her great-grandchild.
Jean moved to Florida and worked at Disney for many years and was loved by all those that she came into contact with. She will be deeply missed by all of her friends and family.
We are starting this go-fund me page to assist her 6 children (who all live in different states - CA, NV, MA, NH,) in being able to take time off from work, travel to Jeans home out of state, clean the remains of her home, and pay for all the proper funeral expenses and care she so deserves. Most of her children will not be able to go , nor recover financially without help. This is where you come in. If you were one of the many who knew or loved Jean, please contribute what you can to get her kids to her now and to bring her back home!!!!
On a more personal note, this is my grandmother. Those of you who know Lukas and I personally, we ask that you please keep her in your prayers. Most of you guys have all met my Uncle Donnie as well who moved to Hollywood with me 20 years ago to fufill his dream as a musician and is beside himself right now having already lost his father as well.
Due to the nature of the investigation, we cannot release any more details at this time but our family really needs help in order to handle all the final arrangements. Please say prayers for the family as they try to put thier lives back together and get there to their mom. Every little bit helps and All funds will serve to pay for her final arrangements and to help her children get back on their feet after these costs.
