Hi, my name is Megan and I'm raising money for my good friend Ryan due to his medical expenses. A four-time cancer survivor, Ryan had lymphoma in his early childhood and young adult years, a bone marrow transplant, and multiple long-lasting side effects and heart issues from chemotherapy in the 80s. He recently had a pacemaker installed due to cardiac arrest and will need open-heart surgery for a bypass and to replace the valves of his heart as a result of his cancer treatment. Ryan is a living, breathing, walking miracle.

 

Ryan works full time and relies on a side hustle to help pay his continuous medical expenses. Multi-talented, Ryan has written and performed many songs sharing hope and inspiration like Where Hope Lives and This is Remission which has been featured through the American Cancer Society to help support cancer survivors. Ryan's most recent song, Scars shares his unwavering faith through his struggles (available on all music platforms).

 

Ryan also created a business to help children with cancer called Bamba Box which provides gift boxes for kids and their caregivers. He authored an awarded-winning book called, This Is Remission, an inspirational autobiography about his journey with cancer....please feel free to buy a copy on Amazon as it's an amazing story! He also wrote a children's book for kids with cancer and has written many articles about cancer awareness for Cure.

 

As you can imagine, lifetime medical costs add up to ridiculous amounts, not to mention the challenges of continual medical procedures and emergencies causing missed work.

 

Ryan has a HUGE heart and spends so much of his time helping others through his music and writing gifts. An accomplished singer-songwriter/guitar player he inspires others with his story of hope. I am honored to have known him for the past couple of years and call him a friend. Ryan's unwavering Christian faith and love for others continue to outshine his struggles.
