Support for Brian's family through this loss

Hello, my name is Tara. On December 22, 2022, tragedy struck our family. My big brother Brian suffered an unexpected heart attack and passed away.

Brian was someone who was known for pouring loving energy into his family, both natural and formed. He didn't self describe himself as a family man, he didn't have to. Making sure the people around him felt safe, supported, and loved was at the forefront of his actions.

It was this love that drove his dedicated search for the perfect home for his family. Just two weeks prior to this unexpected tragedy, he found just this and closed on a house, a home he never had the opportunity to fully settle into. It was his dream to provide a sense of security for his fiancé, Paige, his sons Kael, Konnor, and Leo, and his daughter Lucia. His children were undeniably the loves of his life; he loved all of his family more than anything in this world.

The goal of this crowdsourcing is to help ease this life changing transition for Paige and Brian's kids by raising enough money to help Paige comfortably cover medical bills, utilities, groceries, and the new mortgage, which is $1300 per month. Brian was a veteran of the Armed Forces, so we're learning to navigate the VA system for coverage of funeral expenses, but we're not exactly sure how that works yet.

This unexpected loss has devestated all of us.

In honor of his emotional generosity, we would like to give back by offering an opportunity for Paige to take her time to begin healing this gaping wound in her heart and emotionally support these four children as they learn to navigate the weight of the loss of their father. Brian would want nothing more than for his family to have one less thing to stress about during these trying times.
