Help Bella Fight Her Hardest Battle Ever!
I should have done this first. I’m Renae Greensfelder, my best friend/cousin is Dana Greensfelder. Her daughter Rachel and Bella have been best friends for years. Dana has been one of the care givers in Bella’s life. She has helped Evan (Bella’s dad- single parent) take Bella back and forth to school, to her extracurricular activities and most importantly her cerebral palsy therapy sessions. Bella is part of our family, we all know and love her. I will transfer the money we earn to Evan’s bank account. The money that we raise will help Evan with medical bills, gas, parking passes, and with life/bills in general, as he will most likely be out of work while taking care of Bella for a long time.
June 16, 2026, Bella Cooper was struck by an SUV and suffered catastrophic injuries. She was rushed to the hospital, where she has undergone multiple life-threatening surgeries. She has multiple internal injuries including a laceration to her liver and her right lung. She has two fractures in her skull, a fractured shoulder and a compact fracture at the base of her spine. Bella has been successfully taken off ECMO and is now receiving nitric oxide. She has also developed a fever, and now there is concerned about a possible infection. The doctors remain very concerned about her right arm and foot. Both areas have developed significant dark bruising, and blistering is beginning to appear. At this time, Bella remains too medically unstable to be transported for an MRI. As a result, the team is unable to determine whether the bleed in her brain has increased in size or to fully evaluate her leg. Bella is receiving around-the-clock care from an incredible team of surgeons, doctors, nurses, respiratory therapists, and specialists at John's Hopkins Hospital. While, she remains in critical condition, she continues to fight every single day.
Bella’s father and primary caregiver, has remained by her side throughout this unimaginable ordeal. During this time, he’ll have extended time away from work while having to make medical decisions and supporting Bella throughout her recovery.
Donations will help with:
Lost income while caring for Bella
Travel and transportation expenses to and from the hospital
Meals and daily living expenses during her hospitalization
Medical and recovery-related expenses not covered by insurance
Future rehabilitation, therapy, and long-term recovery needs
If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing Bella’s story and keeping her in your thoughts and prayers.
Bella has overcome challenges her entire life due to having cerebral palsy. She is an extraordinary little girl. Bella will be entering into the 7th grade at Stemmers Run Middle in the fall. She loves being a member of the Girl Scouts. She also loves karate, field hockey and soccer. Right now, she is fighting the biggest battle she has ever faced, and we are believing in and praying for her full recovery one day at a time.
Thank you for your support, prayers, and kindness during this difficult time.
Above all, we thank you Lord Jesus for your grace and healing mercy. We know you are the Great Physician and Bella is in your loving care.
