URGENT MEDICAL HELP

Hello everyone,

I am Betty Quadros, wife of Edwin Quadros from Goa/UK. Kindly requesting you my brothers and sisters to help us during this uncertain time.

We planned a dream holiday, a 7-day cruise, together with our boys only for the uncertainty, my husband, Edwin Quadros, suffered a cardiac arrest mid journey, while at sea. We had to get him admitted at the nearest port, which was Spain. He is currently admitted at Vithas Vigo Hospital, Spain (private hospital). He was in ICU for few days and is now under observation.

Our travel insurance expires in two days and doctors have requested for further stay as his recovery is very slow. He is not fit to travel back to UK at the moment as advised by the doctors here. Being a tourist in Spain he was admitted at the nearest private hospital to get immediate treatment. Since hospital stay is being extended and travel insurance expiring soon, we are running short of funds as this is a private hospital. Travel insurance is only for 7days (only for the cruise holiday period).

The extended hospital stay and getting him back to UK through medical support (medical repatriation) would cost us a fortune. Every day is a struggle here due to language barrier and no family or friends around.

Requesting you, my brothers and sisters, to kindly help me to raise funds to get my husband back to UK. At such hour, your help and generosity will be much appreciated.
