Giving Back
Earlier this year I was extremely proud and honoured to receive an MBE for services to dance and inclusion. Although it was awarded in my name, I accepted it on behalf of all involved (past and currently) with TIN Arts. I have been a part of TIN Arts for over 24 years and feel very lucky and fortunate to be able to work for (IMHO) an outstanding charity. So I want to 'give back' to TIN Arts and do whatever I can to support a charity that has brought wonderful people, organisations and colleagues into my life and continues to have a positive impact on all who engage with TIN Arts.
So on Saturday 10 June, a small group of riders from Paradise Bank Cycling Club (myself, Mike, Jon, Kevin and Rob), will attempt to ride 200kms from Durham to Dunbar in one day. Starting off at first light, we have a deadline to catch a return train from Dunbar at 19:20 that evening so the challenge is on to get to our destination on time with a little bit of jeopardy thrown in for good measure!
Any donations given will support TIN Arts to continue to provide dance activities in school, community and theatre settings that are accessible and inclusive to all.
Thank you in advance.
