Holden's Top Surgery

HEY everyone THANK YOU SO MUCH for your unbelievably generous contributions to the best thing that’s ever happened to me. I look in the mirror every day and feel like crying ecstatically. I am healing awesome and my nurse even told me my nipples are “exquisite” so that’s something to think about. I just got hit with an additional bill of $1,786 for hospital fees that weren’t covered by insurance, and could really use your help in paying off this (hopefully) last portion of the costs. I’m so grateful for all the support already but if it’s possible to continue sharing it would mean the world to me. Thank you again. I love you.

Hello!! As many of you know, I am Holden, and as perhaps indicated by the title of this GoFundMe, I am getting what the doctors call a "gender affirming" "bilateral" "mastectomy," otherwise known as top surgery, on April 15th (tax day, for those at home who need the reminder). This is an expensive procedure that includes an overnight hospital stay, and while I am tremendously fortunate to have pretty decent health insurance through my job, and an in-network doctor, Aetna only covers a portion of the costs, and all other expenses associated with the weeks of recovery (medical supplies, food, etc) I will of course be responsible for.

This is in no uncertain terms the most pivotal, exciting thing that has ever happened to me in my entire life, and something I have been wanting more or less since I started to go through p*berty when I was like, twelve years old. It would mean the world to me if you or someone you know might be able to throw a few dollars into the pot, and it'll sort of be like you're an angel investor in every subsequent compliment I ever receive. Kind of getting in on the ground floor, if you will. (Though I can't exactly promise shareholder equity.)

Please help me ditch my tits in a vat of biohazardous materials!!!!!!!
