In 2018 Adam was originally admitted to the hospital with what the doctors thought was a blood clot in his leg. Over time the clot did not seem to be responding the way they expected, so they took a biopsy and discovered it was actually a leiomyosarcoma tumor. The doctors surgically removed the tumor and Adam underwent radiation therapy. After completing the radiation, Adam went in for normal tests, hoping to get the all clear. Unfortunately, they discovered the cancer had spread to his lungs. He began seeking further medical care, requiring significant time off work, travel and additional expenses. Over the last two years Adam has tried various treatments; some showing more positive reactions than others. Unfortunately nothing has allowed him to get rid of this terrible sickness, but Adam continues to fight. Help us relieve some of the financial burden this has caused to Adam and his family.
